Our History

In 1974, Trinity Christian School was established by the Trinity Baptist Church through the leadership of Dr. Virgil Lovett. This step was taken because of Dr. Lovett's strong conviction of the acute need for Christian education.

Our Mission Statement

Trinity Christian School exists to glorify God by leading children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ,
modeling and instilling Christ-like character, imparting Biblical truths, providing challenging educational
instruction and encouraging students to become Christian leaders with servant's hearts for future generations.

Our Teachers

Trinity Christian School has been blessed to have an amazingly qualified and gifted team of teachers to serve our students. All teachers assigned to grades Kindergarten and above hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, although a good number also hold Master’s Degrees. All of our teachers are required to hold ACSI teacher certification and encouraged to maintain teacher certification from the State of Florida in the area in which they teach. This preparation coupled with the fact that each teacher is a born-again believer and is actively involved in a local church uniquely enables them to serve as a role model for their students.

Trinity Christian School is a non-denominational school and a ministry of Trinity Baptist Church. Trinity Christian School is fully accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and AdvancED.

Trinity Christian School uses several curriculum sources to enhance the learning experience. The ABeka curriculum is the primary curriculum used in the elementary grades. All subjects are taught from the Christian and Biblical perspective without reference or influence to any denominational doctrine.

Trinity Christian School is always looking for volunteers to help in the classrooms, library, cafeteria, fundraising activities, teacher appreciation, and student events. We have a Parent Support Group for the Early Childhood Education and the Elementary/Middle School areas. We encourage parents to be involved in the Parent Support Group or where ever they are comfortable.
