Seeking high school teachers for the 2019-2020 school year
Trinity Christian School is expanding to serve high school students. For the 2019-2020 school year, we will be adding 10th grade. We are seeking Master teachers to join us and be involved in developing a high-quality traditional high school that will serve students and families in the Orlando area. (By God’s grace, we will have our first graduating class in 2022.)
The successful candidate will be someone who is ACSI/State of Florida Certified in their subject areas, capable of teaching more than one discipline, and willing to invest in the lives of some amazing students who are pioneering this new high school. As we prepare for dual enrollment offerings, we are seeking teachers who have a Master’s degree and can be certified by a local college to provide these courses for our students on campus.
These teachers will have the opportunity to develop a high school culture that encourages spiritual growth, service, athletic opportunities, and academic excellence. During these early years, the teachers will also be involved in various administrative and counseling roles.
For 2019-2020, the high school teachers will be teaching 9th and 10th grade Bible (Attributes of God & Decision Making; Will of God & Bible Study); World and US History; English 9 and 10; Biology and Chemistry; and Geometry.
- Demonstrate by example-- love and obedience to Christ and His Word, attend an evangelical church, and serve in a church ministry as the Lord leads.
- All teaching positions require an education degree and classroom experience. Teaching candidates may be asked to teach a class and meet with other teachers at that grade level.
- In order to be considered for employment, you must submit a cover letter, résumé, completed application and references to Shawn Weeks via fax (407-886-3052), email, or in person at the school office.
